It examines the militarization of India and Pakistan and analyses the human cost that is extracted from its citizens in the name of “National Security”
Représentant 3 ans de tournage en Inde, au Pakistan, au Japon et aux États-Unis, War and Peace d’Anand Patwardhan est un voyage épique au sein de l’activisme pacifiste confronté au fanatisme religieux, au militarisme et à la guerre. Ce film décrit avec minutie la militarisation de l’Inde et du Pakistan, de même que les coûts humains au sein des populations civiles que ne cesse de justifier le concept de « Sécurité Nationale »
